I have not been as diligent these days with the upkeep of my blog. Fall is a super busy time of the year, though I know I should not be using that as an excuse. Friends tell me I should farm this blog out so that it is at least "regularly" updated, but then the blog would not have my "voice," which to me, is what a blog is all about!

Anyway, I do have to apologize for mom and dad (especially dad!), for I know he has been waiting very anxiously for these! I promised to have these up for him this weekend, so here they are! What a beautiful, beautiful family you have.

Little B has a baby sister! I know L and C are excited to share these with family, so without further ado, I present some of their favourite portraits from newborn C's first ever photography session!

I am not the most organized person - I will openly admit to that. Those who know me will certainly attest to that. I am far from perfect, despite being a perfectionist. There isn't a single day that goes by where I don't give myself a little talking-to about how I could have done so and so just a little bit better. However, I do pride myself on one thing - when I make portraits, I do it from my heart. To me, that is the only way I can do what I do and love what I do.

Before I begin photographing a client, I always spend at least 5 minutes letting go - I want to start all my sessions with a blank canvas and without any pre-conceived notions. Once the session begins, my mission is to create my most heartfelt photographic artwork. I let my heart and soul take over, and I trust that by doing so, the end result will always be satisfying and successful.
The photographs that I present here today are a few of my favourites from my wonderful photographic session with newborn A (9 days old!) and his lovely family. These six portraits speak to my heart directly, and is yet another testament that good things come about when I pour my heart and soul into my work. I love these portraits, and I hope you do too.

Ok ok. My bad. It is February 12, a good month after my last blog entry. I really do admire those who constantly update not only their blogs, but their Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, LinkedIn accounts, etc. etc.! How does one do it?? What is the secret? Pray tell!

Most would agree that I am sociable and chatty, but when it comes to blogs...I have to really WORK at it!
Enough of my babbling. I would like to introduce this precious newborn little girl. She is pure perfection - perfect size, perfect temperament, perfect model! I know mom and dad have been waiting anxiously - so without further ado, here are some of my favourites from our session.

I have waited months and months to photograph this precious one. Congratulations once again, S and B, for the birth of your absolutely beautiful and perfect baby D. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the opportunity to photograph baby D and for allowing me to be a part of your lives - you have touched me deeply.

Here are some of my favourites from our session. I will be in touch shortly!
